Oh dear it s a nice morning after the rain. Great weather.. for lazing!
went out for three days in a row meeting...mostly diff old frens from fourthree haha. my mum asks why cant we all just meet up together in one huge gathering haha. yesh I had delicious and cheap Turkish food at the fareast place(yes the one that has that naughty ice cream man!) with mel on tues... bought nice skirt and top from our little shopping trip around heeren and from kino bought my much-desired Cantonese Phrase Book! lol feel bit more prepared for my hk trip noww:)
The assistance offered by the book is really quite long overdue. all my life i've been hopelessly incapable of responding to fluid torrents of Cantonese directed at me by relatives on both my mum AND dad's side during every HUGE gathering. haha. when u understand but cant speak back..it can get reeeeally agonizing grrr. hehehe.
ahhh Mel and me are both gonna become teachers...........hahaha...we were recalling how we were students together once..we subjected our teachers to TORTURE via harsh scrutiny and comment. Talk about a twisT of fate. or the wheels of fortune have turned...gulp. *crosses fingers*
Wed sarahbrudder jio-ed me to go on an impromptu kbox outing again...haha this time she got pht to come along! wheee. Missed them both tons. combination of folks was refreshing. had a lot of fun - their frequent harmonizing (ooh i almost forgot how ht and sarah used to do tt so much in class (: ) at nice songs....our slaughtering of Bai Se Hun Li when we were unfamiliar with parts..hahaha.. sarah had developed a theory that most mandarin songs sound alike.. so we can just anyhow warblee our way thru when u dont know. heehee.
Thurs I was shoved out of the house barely 15 minutes from the time I stepped out of my room in the morning. Was raining heavily and my mum was gonna drive my sister to her workplace at tiongbahru. And my parents and I were supposed to go shopping at greatworld so I had to tag along.
Its JUST. TERRIBLE. The way I splurged on a new pair of sandals and skirt and two tops!!! (barely two days since my last buy)....wahahaha. retail therapy rawkkks. GSS is a scam I tell ya. haha. think my dad was right.
k ge-ed with my relief/research sg again:) py, gina,ver...:) think i felt quite tired.. also guess the timing's really not too good for all of us as well.. there was just a hint of fatigue... but it was great to meet up again! :) really looking forward to our m'sia trip. :)
okie. i'll be flying off to hk tmr...be back on 16 june, thurs. miss me folks *grins* =)
