who's got the groooove?

haha went to watch body language yest..mainly to support hanz..:)
was really impressed by what i saw... on the whole the participating groups were pretty cool man..but their styles were quite different.. wonder how the judges judged.. esp liked the cucumbers (xy! xy! xy!) for their funk and energy..:) yihan's group was the chiobu sexayy group man.. then huiyan totally rocked the stage with her hot hot moves.... woohoo.. i got a bit high after the whole thing.. was also filled with immense regrets and jealousy. haha. i cant groove to save my life.

lol.

the audi was pretty filled leh.. which i didnt expect.. lotsa pple supporting the event! :)

oh yes. spotted familiar faces at the m.a.d. item too.. the j1s one.. haha.. a mini huangcheng gathering of sorts..haha..was quite astounded when i spotted them..hehs.

yay cucumbers won. :) huiyan's great groovy moves earned her group second. while sexayy yihan and her sistas charmed their way to third place. -grins-

today.. i've been in prolonged -thinking- mode.

about things perceived recently becoming more apparent and frequent somewhat.. hais. which i am probably not really in the capacity to talk about. jing says i read too much into things.. really hope to persuade myself it really is so. then maybe i can fight off this weariness that plagues me everytime i wake up and start to face the world.

actually ran to body lang with fourdollars from the overseas ed talk... after US reps were talking.. haha.. i dont know why i've somehow been really caught up with finding out more about all the different uni courses and overseas opportunities.. browsing thr prospectus after prospectus.. websites after websites.. not sure what sparked it off..

there's this nagging desire to escape. which ought to be a bad reason for wanting to go overseas for studies..right?..

today i got this pink wristband for free from the british council reps.. that says:
Live Life.

pretty cool huh. kinda part of the whole thoughts about singapore that sprung up in my head esp after reading catherinelim's article last sunday..
and probably also.. after reading too much into the behaviour of people i noticed around me lately..

(old habits sure die hard.) :P

just quite disturbed by the kind of apathy we have been somewhat conditioned to display...
its so hard for people to choose to engage in something out of mere passion...
just so difficult to try and be passionate about something...
so hard to love and accept the people around u without condition...
maybe because its increasingly difficult to live on passion alone anymore.
and passion itself can fade away.

the guarantee of survival provided by practicalities, or our supposed disillusionment with the non-practical, have flushed out our capacities to live and love life with cynicism. have they?

is it just me being idealistic, and foolish again.

maybe i'm just upset with myself. fed up with being so quick to judge others, before myself.
