close your eyes.
heyhey..=)after countless dizzy days and nasty nights, battling mugging fatigue and insomnia, i tasted the rejuvenating air of freedom as i stepped out of the school, and into the sunlight on Wednesday.
haha.woohoo. we pulled thru people. amazing.
=)
at 12 plus the (big) bunch of us bummed around lido, trying to eat real slow or talk a lot as we frantically searched for ways to make time fly til 4 o' clock so that mavis' art history paper could be over in an instant and we could all then bounce happily into the cinema and watch jay chou.
=)
lol. before we knew it, we were done eating and ran out of ideas for what to do the next instant. as they almost always do, all the speculating lead nowhere. cept that we almost ended up at changi airport. hahaha. one could say that the Irrational notions were successfully supressed by the majority. ;)
then bowling was suggested. and the party got moving! yay!
we later discovered there was no longer a bowling alley at cine...=(
heard xuefen and co. then just went to jalan-jalan..:)
meanwhile, i found myself in the cinema, next to jinjing, vinz, yinday, kanghao...the very last row of it to be exact..ahaha..watching War of the Worlds. :)
haha.. hmm i'm having some mixed feelings towards the movie. actually thought it was really a hi-quality flick as i watched it.. but was partially swayed by the opinions of jinjing and vinz.. hahaha..
i thought the effects, the directing was good..the acting too:) tom cruise is really captivating as an actor..
being the scaredy-cat that i am i was genuinely spooked by the aliens and all.. but according to popular(vinz+dayday+jing) opinion.. they're actually really quite funny.. and the little girl's incessant screaming was much scarier. lol. i think both were equally distressing.
haha. yay. then met up with the rest of the gang at wisma coffee club express to await the arrival of dear mavis. :)
sitting in the comfy little centre portion of the cafe with the sofas and all..
conspiring ways to validate our projected absence from school the next day...*wink*
yep so the rest of the day was spent completing the last lap of my movie marathon...
Initial D...here we come! :)
haha its an act cool flick lah. haha..but really enjoyable..filmed on location in a chic town and gorgeous valleys of Japan.. the movie's got sleek racing.. handsome drivers..oh-so-cool jay...oh-so-melt-inducing edison..really charming anthony wong who wowed me with his acting and impeccable comedic timing..:)
didnt quite get the car specs parts though. haha. bout the mps. and suspensions and engine capacities and all. hahaha. but i could feel the sincerity of the directors in trying to stay true to the spirit of the comic.. =) all in all..i merely had a great time..whether it was gushing and laughing with the gang.
my first movie marathon and i felt really proud of it.. grins. though a bit of heartache as well, cos its *poof* and 14 bucks flies out the window. my fellow movie-marathoner jinjing survived in one piece too though at the expense of her beautiful voice. said she was then going to be suited for ah-sang's songs.
haha i really dunno what happened in the cinema. the change was really drastic. pretty amusing too the whole thing haha. guess we could only blame it on the laopok ice in the sugar cane juice from tangs ba. or on the breath-taking good looks of the leads in Initial D. *grins* hope she gets well soon! in time for her stint on 933 on saturday! sho exciting =)=) folks folks, dont say i didnt remind ya. its 6pm, this sat on 933:). there's a dedication session i heard.. we shall call in till the phone lines rupture k...muahahaha :)
yupp..:) thats about what happened in a day that is now yesterday.
i'm still trying to pick up from the horrendous rhythm of the past week (cant believe it was really just ONE week) to a normal pace of life again... normal a.k.a. sleep 12 hours, watch tv 6 hours a day blahblah..
hahahas..but these days i come home and fall asleep like a log for hours.. doubt i'd ever accomplish any of those great plans for fun, relaxation and ahem, self-improvement.., which i had turning in my head all the while as i grit my teeth thru mugging... sigh.
big fat procrastinator will never give up her procrastinating ways. yay.
hahaha aiyah nvm lah. in the meantime i shall just try to embrace school...=S
hope u dears will find ways to truly LIVE your life, the way u want it. :)
tata nitez!
take care people. :)
*yimeng was telling me that 7th July marked the anniversary of a something-bridge incident. i know it now. the lugou bridge incident. at "Huh?!"-effecting moments such as these, i'd be feeling quite lousy to find that perhaps i've never taken enough effort to be more culture-loving..to perhaps enrich myself more and become a more thinking, contributing person.. *shakes head sadly*
