/everything in its own time.
nice little saturday morning. cooling breeze that came with the slight drizzle..rushed off straight after school yest... to my big sista's convocation!! =) -beams-
haha yes being the Non-Parent, i was not given an official invite.. but yay she managed to get a ticket for me! haha so funny. the organisers released free tickets one hour before the event... haha. like some concert.
reached ntu.. the weather was sad. cannot take nice nice photos under the dark skies..haha but at least there were some.
for the day, one could say i was temporary Employed. postion was Sister's Bag Carry-er, Photographer cum Errand Runner. she had to stop almost every five steps she took on the way to the auditorium man. friends all over the place..hahaha. perfect carlsberg spokesperson.erps.
kk shall talk bout the ceremony..
it was a pretty solemn occasion. quite amazed there was only ONE speech! hee. expected such events to be full of them. would mostly remember myself clapping. and clapping. and clapping. haha. so many graduates!!! my sister was no. 338, of HER degree alone. so yeah clap clap clap for everybody.. =D
yay. after the ceremony.. my parents and i just hung around waiting for our Da Xiao Jie as she made her rounds taking photos everywhere... hahaha..
waited. and waited. wondering around the school compounds on my own. ntu is really a pretty nicely designed place..=) nicer than nus. =X (shhhhH)
til we ended up at Changi Airport(familiar spur-of-the-moment tendencies at work dont u think) at 10. for dinner.. haha. so exciting. the airport was freezing man. but we had great dinner at the 24h food court :) me and my big sis (the fresh graduate) were having fun playing jap tourists("ano...") and taiwanese tourists("kan qi lai hao hao chi orh!") alternately as we made our food orders.. lol.. =D
yay. so ended a really long day.

AHhHH.. HARRY POTTER's out today. today!! -bounces about- been waiting for soo longgggg....excuse me as i make a sprint for the nearest bookshop. -beams-
feel like telling u people bout my neighbourhood today.
so u all know i live in this little new neighbourhood called Sengkang. established less than 10 years ago. relatively undeveloped. ulu. clean.
quiet.
well, most of the time.
cos u see, Sengkang, is a young neighbourhood. literally.
largely occupied by young families, young couples, newly-weds, and of course... their young children.
energetic, active, bubbly, perpetually excited, nice leetle children.
til the adults get upset with them. (and boy do they show it.)
the kids unleash a vocal prowess one never knew existed...
its a regular occurence in my neighbourhood. coming from all corners. neighbours on the floor above mine, neighbours next door, neighbours from the opposite block.
furious barking that sets off tremendous waaaaaaails which subsequently permeate the entire estate...
=P
hahahaha.
i'd very much like to adhere to govt policies. but in my nice little neighbourhood, child-raising really does appear like a hair-raising experience.
hahaha. :)
and this is my nice little neighbourhood.
