December!

hehe yes miss cheekiez! your wish is my command :)

so whats up with my life these days?

flew off to fujian china 3 days after my exams.. just my parents me and my uncle and aunt. was a pretty fun trip haha cept that it got reeeeeeeeealllly cold especially when we got to the town of Wu Yi Shan.. the mountainous place that my mum's been yearning to visit for a long time.

there was a another family of 3 with us on the trip. the only other non-adult on the trip was a pr 1 little boy whom everyone fell in love with! :) he's really cute...really one of the sweetest kids around... its hard to find a kid these days who's not caught up with his own toys or himself but converses with u cordially, is not brattish yet fun-loving and adorable, is intelligent but not boastful, just sooo... delightfully sweet and charming! :) a rare breed of child these days...he really deserves to be treasured :) haha he also has such nice bright eyes and handsome face that everywhere we went, all the ladies in china were fawning over him. lol. and my mum, aunt n uncle especially were having a lot of fun telling him loads of cold jokes and false awry facts abt stuff to entertain ourselves. ahh...I really do pray he grows up happy and well.

i lurve this boy!

alright check out the mountain we scaled! haha

i thank God for giving strength to my knees and ankle to last e journey up....
OOH i rememberr.. it was not only reeeally cold.. but reeeeally WET!! it was raining for the 2 days we spent walking about the scenic regions... super sad :(

me and my parents and our identical ponchos heh -

then leh was carolling carolling! :)
my 23 sessions became 17.. lol thankfully?
carolling sessions have been mostly enjoyable... i really love that the seniors and my fellow batch mates too were such a wonderful bunch to spend time with.. it always feels very warm when we are gathered tog... even when we're just all lazing abt in the waiting rooms.. :)

most of the carolling sessions i had were at Timberl*nd stores lol.. very interesting place to carol.. favourite was the rafflescity outlet where the location was good with bigger crowds passing by, ppl were more enthu and we didnt have to face only clothes when we sang.
then got kino.. and merch*ntcourt. the latter my fave cos we got FREE FOOD. hahaha.. on christmas day itself, in the middle of our carolling, we were suddenly requested to sing a birthday song for a diner! haha on my part i just anyhow whacked and let the seniors do e spontaneous harmonising and choreographing... was all spontaneous good fun :)

k great i have a seriously weird expression...

oh oh BUT one of the biggest highlights of the entire experience.. must be the session at a client's house.. where we sung for his family. it was a really heartwarming affair. the children and grandma tog with the aunts/uncles gathered tog in the living room to hear us sing. haha we sang and sang the old favourites to the experimental stuff (even had to refer to scores for those lol :X) the family were really sweet about having us despite the late hour... really attentive and encouraging. i guess they really helped me experience the fact that carolling can be truly meaningful.

yes and so concluded the whole 3 wks or so of carolling.. memorising scores was tedious and running abt fr location to location was crazily tiring.. but i hope it paid off for everyone :)

haha shucks i realised this is going to be a really long entry! hehe like vomitting out everything that happened in the course of the month...really paisehs :X

if i write anymore i'm going to go on til tmr morning..
will be back again soon ok?:)
